DIRECTIONS TO LOSKOP GAME FARM

  • From Kimberley, take the R357 to Douglas
  • After 51 km, take the 33640 to Plooysburg. [The turn off is at: S28° 56′ 14″ E24° 13′ 54″]
  • After 9.5 km, this road forks at the police sign. Keep left and you will pass Plooysburg on your right
  • Continue straight on the same road for another 9.1 km
  • 18.6 km after you turned left from the R357, turn left through farm gate 1. Please close all gates behind you [the turn off is at: S29° 3′ 32″ E24° 10′ 10″]
  • Continue on this farm road through gate 2. (You now enter Weltevreden farm-the farm of Johan and Era van Dyk)
  • The road makes a sharp left and continue up a hill. Almost at the top of the hill, the road forks (1.8 km from where you came through the first gate). Keep right at the fork. [S29° 4′ 20″ E24° 9′ 53″]
  • Continue on this farm road through a total of 6 farm gates
  • At gate 6 you will enter Loskop Game Farms. [S29° 6′ 3″ E24°8′31″]
  • After you have entered through the gate, keep left for 0.7 km. (You will pass a barn on your right)
  • After the 0.7 km, turn right to the lodge. [S29° 6° 20″ E24° 8′ 27″]
  • After 1.1 km, turn right to the lodge. [S29° 6′ 28″ E24° 7′ 49″]
  • Loskop Game Farm Lodge is at S29° 6′ 10″ E24° 7′ 49″
